LOL!!! I wish our dog had that much wisdom but alas, she never learned.
I just heard of a friend's friend's dog who got bit on the nose by a rattlesnake. The dog was rushed to the vet but apparently had no medical problems. "It was a learning experience."
The photos of the skunk and dog is great.I'm a big fan of British groups from the 60's. Good choice.
Steve - I can't take credit for the photo, it's from the Internet. As for the Troggs, I'm glad you enjoy what I believe was their only hit. (But it's a good one!)
Another of their hits was "With a Girl Like You". Not as big as "Wild Thing", but not bad.
On a quite highbrow UK tv quiz we were watching they played a number of 60s hits that we knoew so well and were instantly singing along to, but we knew hardly any of the bands that made them. Their names had largely disappeared into oblivion, while the music lingered on!Clever dog, you obviously don't mess with a skunk...
OMG, I found this post so funny. We had the Trogs music on our local radio when we first married. I remember this song, &A girl like you...Our early marriage days were...odd!
Steve and Meggie - You both had it on me - I don't remember A Girl Like You, though I might if I heard it. I'll have to search YouTube.Lucy - During my dj days I used to joke that I knew the title and the first few words of every pop song. But had to turn the speakers down to find and cue up the next record, answer the telephone, etc.
