Hey, you are rushing the holiday. We've got Columbus Day, Thanksgiving in Canada, National Boss' Day, and UN Day BEFORE we get to Halloween! But thanks anyway.
I have to clear the decks for Christmas, you know.
Our neighborhood was left incomplete because of the financial crisis and we don't get any kids trick or treating. Maybe this year we'll get some, which is a good thing because I shouldn't be eating all of our candy.
Oh yes you should!
The Germans are picking up on it more each year. It has become a retailer delight, but not as bad as in the states.
I have a neighbor just across the street who goes all out for Halloween with and huge extended family of skeletons in this yard. It's about time for him to start setting those up. Oh and by the way, there are no children in his household. He and his wife must be kids at heart.
I saw one of those witches just today! Dr. M has ordered a pirate earring for his Halloween costume - he LOVES giving out candy to the kids.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! We have tons of kids coming to our house, they smile, say "trick or treat," and then they hold open their bags for me to pick something out. I always pick out the good chocolatey stuff, none of those cheap sweet tarts for me!Not sure why there have been less trick-or-treaters coming the last few years.
Probably because YOU are supposed to give THEM the candy!
