HOW TO TELL IF YOU'RE LIVING IN ARIZONA

It's the middle of February.  Much of the United States and many other parts of the world are struggling with fierce winter storms of ice, snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain and flooding.

Meanwhile, my former neighbor and his new dog are relaxing in Phoenix.

(His wife told me the pool heater wasn't turned on and the water was freezing.  But what does he know.  He's from Edmonton, Alberta, and when the temperature gets above 40 F. he puts on shorts and a t-shirt.)

  1. I thought you were going to say it had something to do with the sound of flesh sizzling. I guess that doesn't happen untill around April, right? ;)

    1. That would have been right in the past but with Global Warming, who can tell.

  2. Normally, the people out here who get in the water, other than surfers in their wet suits, are tourists from North Dakota, Canada, Sweden and Norway and etc.

Love the contented dog in the shot you posted. He looks mellow!

  3. It looks indeed like life in Phoenix! It looks like winter: the bush behind is still winter green and not yellowish green like it will be in a couple of months...
