HOUSE PROUD

This lovely old cottage is near Prescott's Victorian homes area and directly across the street from the Public Library and that cat.  I wouldn't mind living here.

  1. We saw an 1876 Farmhouse in Jan's home town of Batavia, New York, felt the same way. Wanted to stop the car and sit on the porch with a drink in my hand.

  2. Does the concept "upkeep" strike a chord? Lovely to view, however.

  3. The house could be in my neighborhood, esp. with what looks like the wrought iron fence. Every house on my side of the block has one, most of them linked together.

  4. As an ex-Alaska fisherman I have seen this color combination before, a grayish green with reddish orange trim. If I remember right; it is used on a lot of boats owned by Norwegians.

  5. I love the charm and colors of this place. And it would be great living across from a library.

  6. From the internet I've noticrd a lot of property (homes) being sold and bought in Pescott.

  7. It looks beautiful, but it also looks like a never-ending maintenance nightmare. I think "lookership" would be preferable to "ownership". :)

  8. What a cute little house. I think I could live there too. BTW, loved the puffy omelet in yesterday's post. I bet it tasted great.
