Several periods of work in Arizona's hot sun by The Artist have resulted in the stump in our front yard being transformed into a cheerful greeter.
It was finished this morning with the eyes completed and a couple of wispy clouds added to our Southwestern azure sky.
So are you ready?
Ta-da!
Oddly, there is no signature.
That may or may not be added.
As to his or her name, that's still being debated.
However "Scarface", in whatever form it took in yesterday's post and comments, may no longer be considered.
The Artist, you see, is also a bit of a plastic surgeon and she took care of that name-prompting feature this morning.
And since she is the creator of this masterpiece, I think it only fair to allow her to choose its name.
(to be continued)
How long did you have to pose for Stump Face? A very good likeness.
ReplyDeleteI almost fainted from all that standing still in the sun!
DeleteShe did an excellent job.

ReplyDeleteShe's a very professional lady.
DeleteHow absolutely spiffing!
ReplyDeleteSpiffing! What a splendid word!
DeleteIs this the first of 3 stumps with artwork? Didn't you lose 2 more trees earlier?
ReplyDeleteWe did lose two others. But no plans for those stumps . . . e-x-c-e-p-t Miss Judy says if the neighbors whose apartment is in back of one of them would allow, she might paint a moon on that one. We'll see.
DeleteA great bit of sunny cheer sneaking up from below the knees. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteShe did well to fill in the space on the right with clouds.
ReplyDeleteThe Moon sounds like a fun next project if she can do it. Sol and Luna. Can I ask what paint she used for her project?
ReplyDeleteRegular artists acrylics
