PASSING

 Judy's older sister died today.

Treva was, like Judy, a beautiful and dynamic woman.

This photo was taken in 1972 just before we moved from Indiana to Arizona.

Of the three siblings in that family, only my wife remains.

Her younger brother, Steve, passed away some years ago.

I can't help but remembering the song "Time Passages".

They were a great trio but now only my beloved remains.

I understand. My sibs are gone, my wife is gone, and my kids and grands remain. If you're like me, we're lucky. My condolences to swibo.

Judy, please accept our condolences. I remember asking my mother about her friends and her saying they had all gone on before her. Sobering thought. I guess we all reach that point in life. Hoping you have good memories of younger times.

Much sympathy to Judy and to you. Losing loved ones is like losing parts of ourselves and our history.

It's sad when siblings die and only one is left. You have me wondering now which of mine will be the last one left.

Sorry to hear of Treva's passing. I guess that when we are in the midst of life, healthy and busy with so much time ahead, we think it will last forever but of course it never does.
