TEA FOR TWO (or three?)

Christmas baking season has begun at the vaunted Taylor Bakery & Experimental (and sometimes hazardous) Kitchen Laboratory.

Here's today's result.

Lemon Berry Tartlets

A puff pastry shell with the center pushed down to make a hollow for some lemon curd, topped with a blackberry and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar.

A little fussy but de-lish-us!

Let the holidays begin!

I wish I lived closer to you - I would be right over to try one of those. They look great.

That looks delicious! I love lemon. Did you buy the puff pastry shell and the lemon curd ready made or did you make them from scratch? I would serve this yummy treat!

Yum! That looks great.

I made the shells from puff pastry sheets. The lemon curd came in a jar from the store.

Those do look good! I don't do any baking until a couple days before Xmas. Having too many sweets around when I live by myself=danger.

Lana was telling friends about how you guys are such bakers, adding the line it's a wonder they don't weight 300 lbs.
