Old age is an ouch, so why not laugh? Wait, that hurts too. My sons used to bring me tea in bed sometimes. And with a flower too. On a tray, with the cream and sugar. No special reason, they just did it. Thank you for reminding me of that sweet memory. They were good boys, and now good men.
Drive with cake, yes! I can relate to the grocery store one, especially when I take my mother. She is so slow and unaware of anyone behind her. Those people are much nicer than I would feel, although I would act nicely on the outside. I've often wished I could train Mari to turn on the fire and make my coffee before I get downstairs.
Oh man! What a variety! Did love the drive with cake! I think I will!
ReplyDeleteJust for once I'd like to be served coffee in bed.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I feel the pain of that cat...
ReplyDeleteGood ones, Bruce!
