. . . before Christmas.
Some people might say it's the 12th day before Christmas.
Some might say it's only 11.
Whatever.
The time is drawing short.
So get those cards in the mail.
If you still send cards.
Hit those stores and search for sales of potential gifts.
If you're still gifting.
Decorate, decorate, decorate.
If you still decorate.
But don't forget the big party bringing friends and families together.
The holidays are truly upon us.
Let's try to enjoy them.

Yes, our relatives. And loved ones. May they never meet.
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteThat is hilarious!
DeleteHeard a different version of that one before, something about 'spouses and sweethearts'...
DeleteYes, "mixed nuts" describes pretty much EVERYONE'S family, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteCould be, Debra, could be.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteI'll enjoy the food.
DeleteI will bring the fruitcake.
ReplyDeleteYou mean the football? 😅
DeleteWe have a few birthdays thrown in also to celebrate during these Christmas weeks!
ReplyDeleteThe relatives, yes! Not as many as there used to be though. I send New Year's Cards; it makes the season less stressful. I try to enjoy what I can and let go of what I can't.
ReplyDeleteNot too many relatives will be here, but we will have a good time!
ReplyDeleteThat woman in the picture is gorgeous. Are all American women like that? Somebody should advise her to cock her little finger when drinking tea.
ReplyDeleteYes, they all are. And that is, indeed, a teacup but it's full of gin.
