Two days ago we woke up to snow on the ground.
That is NOT why we moved to Arizona!
Well yes, there are some misguided souls who actually revel in playing in the white iciness of the Snow Bowl north of Flagstaff.
But not me.
I came for the warmth of winter sunshine.
And today --- just two days after that rude snowfall --- I got it.
Sunshine and 70 degrees F. (21 C.)
My bones already feel better.

Bask in the sunlight and warmth!
ReplyDeleteLooks like 2 weeks worth of 70 degrees coming! Get out your shorts and sandals!
ReplyDeleteWe are warming up out west, on the central coast. Feels good after the rain and chill. Got down to 41 a couple of nights last week. Cold! Talked with our buddy Frank in Falls Church and they only got a couple of inches and it has mostly melted. Mother Nature saved her heaviest for further north.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind that! Back in the deep freeze here.
ReplyDeleteI thought good old North Dakota guy would love some snow!
ReplyDeleteNope, I had enough in my youth.
DeleteThat's my perfect temperature! I'm not a fan of the snow although I don't mind a brief snowstorm once every winter. Then it can stay away. (except in the mountains)
ReplyDeleteBring it on!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous. Freezing here in the SE. I'm holding out for spring, then I'll bitch about the heat/humidity in the summer😁
ReplyDeleteOooo, you are making me jealous!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the snow so much but the wind and the 20° temps with the windchill factor making it even colder is getting old.
ReplyDeleteI think I can handle that sort of weather! Here it is 24 (about 75 farenheit) so quite comfortable.
ReplyDeleteWhew!
ReplyDeleteThat’s like February here — it may snow, but it quickly warms up again.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine, snow is pretty, but the novelty wears off in a hurry.
