Steve, I don't know but I showed the photo to SWMBO and she said it may be a Japanese Maple.
I've been amazed at how rapidly the trees have been turning here in Prescott. A little slower than over night, but close. Love it!
Yes the colors are beautiful.
I agree, that last photo has the most beautiful colour!
I always try to save the best for last.
