This godawful winter

When I got up this morning and looked out the window I couldn't believe my eyes. Two to three inches of snow covered everything, all fallen overnight. I had an early doctor appointment so had to scrape the windows of the car free of light ice and snow, then watch for slippery spots on the way into town.

By 5 o'clock this afternoon it was 50 degrees and the weather person says it will reach 60 tomorrow.

How can a person achieve any stability in his life if the weather can't?

As 'they' say in New England... If you don't like the weather, wait a minute!!!! I still have a half foot of snow in my yard even though we too have reached 50 degrees! We are expecting torrential rain this weekend, so hopefully that will wash the last of the white stuff away! Then Mud Season begins... I live on a dirt road, always an adventure!! Have a great day.

SDH - Yes, it is already 30 at 8:15 this morning and headed higher. Fortunately the soil dries quickly here so Mud Season is all yours.

I've read that El Nino has a lot to do with it. What do you think?

Steve - Yes, probably.

Hopefully this weekend's storm will NOT drop another couple of inches of snow. At least that's what KNAU said this Ayem....

GJ - I think that's doubtful down here.

It's a test, you know. You are being graded. Be strong.

Seems to have been universally god-awful.
