Prudent move by a savvy public servant. We will miss her passion and vibrancy in Congress, & since it is missing already, a double loss. Powerful message for her return in future?
This saddened me when I heard the news today. I wish her well. And I wish we weren't a people who accept what happened to her so easily. We put on a show of concern but we don't pressure our legislators to do anything about it. James Bradey didn't get justice and I doubt Gabby will.
I love this lady, her spirit and courage. She is amazing. We all could learn from her experience, I'm sorry but I blame all the rhetoric being said at that time for the pain and deaths of that horrible day.....:-)Hugs

She's a very brave lady. I wouldn't be surprised to see her back in Washington some day.
