SUNFLOWERS

With our over-active monsoon season this summer, the sunflower weeds are abundant, lining the roads everywhere.  The surrounding land seems greener than I can remember.

Of course, I'm older now and my memory isn't what it used to be!

Green is good. I'd love to have more rain here. Still, it's better now than it was a year ago. Thank goodness.

Are these the same sunflowers that grow so big? These look fully grown but smaller than some I've seen.

Oh, I see--these are sunflower "weeds." Different.

It is greener...OR there is an algae bloom in the brain of yours...

We drove through Arizona a couple weeks ago and witnessed a bit of the monsoon weather, back in Southern California it seems to still never rain, I suppose we should have bottled some of the rain and brought it home Ha Ha

The sunflower weeds look nice
