We don't have Thanksgiving here down-under, but we do indulge like that on Christmas Day. I'm interested to know whether or not you repeat the procedure at Christmas?
In my extreme youth we did on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. I've come to my senses (somewhat) since then.
