A SIMPLE QUESTION

What is the Internet for anyway?

Why, to bring you stuff like this:

I checked out all of these hints for home safety and personal health on Snopes and all are for real!
AMAZING, SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES:

1. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold the vegetables while you chop.
2. Men can avoid arguments with the females about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink in their bathroom.

3. For high blood pressure sufferers, simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure on your veins.  Remember, it’s important to set a timer.
4. An old fashioned spring loaded mouse trap placed on top of your alarm clock will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
5. You need only two tools in life:  WD-40 & duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40.  If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
6. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

And stuff like this:

And this:

See?  That's what the Internet is for!

  4. If I can't fix something with a staple gun or a screwdriver, then I can't fix it. If I have any duct tape I don't know where I've put it.

  5. I just love geese, even though some varieties can be......difficult. I remember - a long time ago now - I visited Slimbridge in Gloucestershire (England) to see the water birds at the wild fowl trust set up by Peter Scott (son of the Antarctic explorer). I knelt down, surrounded by a vast flock of Hawaiin geese, and began to feed them. They were so gentle, had such a fey sound, and had such a soft touch to my palms. That was a moment to remember, when I slipped out of the harsh world of reality. Whilst feeding them, I felt a tapping on my shoulder. When I looked round I saw a patient swan waiting to share in the bounty. To be that close to a swan, with all its destructive, or at least painful, potential........magic, sheer, wonderful magic.

Thank you for triggering that memory.
