THROWBACK THURSDAY

The 1970's in Phoenix.  My days as a television news reporter.  Local boy Vincent Furnier is relaxing prior to his concert that night.

Oh, yeah.  You might know him as rock star Alice Cooper.

  1. Neat photo. This was before he got the snake?

    1. No, he had the snake. But this was before his make-up session.

  2. Throwback Thursday always surprises me about your younger days. I met you as a small bookstore owner in Prescott Valley and had no idea of your past semi-fame. It reminds me of that great Peter Seller's line "I was not always as you see me now.". But that is true of all us senior citizens.

    1. I like that: "semi-fame". A good way to describe my rowdy past.

  3. Well, I knew you in the throwback days so I'm familiar with some of your episodes. As I look at his photo now I'm tempted to say you went through a kind of Dinty Moore phase with the beard except for those plaid pants! Please tell me they were not part of a suit!!!

  4. I hardly recognize him with the blonde hair and the beard.

Nice pants. I used to play golf with a similar pair.

  5. What a great photo. You really haven't changed much, although I hope your taste in clothes has improved.

  6. I had a pair of pants like that in '72, so don't listen to the detractors. Heh, makes me damn near laugh.

    1. Didn't any of you fashion plates see "American Hustle"? I was the epitome of style!

  7. That is a fun shot! I'm glad you said that was Alice Cooper because I wouldn't have know that.
