THROWBACK THURSDAY

1971.  My new MGB . . . and a flat tire!  (Dig those pants!)

Later, up and running and smiling once again.

(Along with mutton chops and a hippie headband!  Ah, the 70's!)

Guess you were expecting high water. I have not seen a man pump a tire with a bicycle pump, since I saw you do it. As I recall we were both driving mg's from Butler. I opted for beige or sand, you chose something to match your headband.

I could never grow mutton chops but my dad did and I still smile when I see those pictures. Too bad you don't still have that MGB. I'm sure our mechanic son would love to get his hands on it.

It was one of the great joys of my life. But I only owned it for less than a year, I think. Took it back to the dealer because we decided to move (from Indiana) to Arizona and needed a van.

Superb!
You are so lucky to have these pictures. A bicycle pump? Really? :-)
