Elvis? At least Jimi had connections to Seattle. Where are the statutes for Nirvana? Especially the big Croatian, bassist Krist Novoselic. Grunge and depression caused by rain, now that is Seattle.
If you wanted to be really the cool guy you would have gone a couple miles to the east and north, and gone to Jimi's grave....put a pack of camels on his stone and pose. In a fit of confession that I didn't want to hear, one of the daughters told me she and her friends would go up to the graveyard at night, and drink beer when they were teenagers.
