On his balcony overlooking the Courthouse Square, owner Tommy Meredith has his carol singers up and at 'em.
But we can forgive Tommy since he is the main impetus behind the fund raising every year to make sure the Square is lighted and decorated for Christmas.
Meanwhile, downstairs at the Palace Restaurant and Saloon an old west lookalike was maintaining a vigil.
We chatted about the decorations and he said the Palace would soon be sporting decorations as well.
Merry Christmas, everyone, even though it's only November 19th and a week before Thanksgiving! I guess it's never too soon to start in Arizona's Christmas City.

The gent looks like he is ready to shot the first raindeer that shows up.
He had a six-shooter on his other hip. He told me there was going to be some entertainment pretty soon. I said I thought maybe he was going to shoot someone. He replied, "Oh, no, they might be paying customers!"
Yup, it's a bit early but people are busy decorating already. I like the portrait of the fancy cowboy.
The stores are already putting in Christmas stuff, I can't believe it. Nobody needs to worry about commercialism losing it's Christmas significance.

I have a Facebook friend in Illinois who posted photos of her Christmas tree up already. Crazy!

A vigil new generation! I love it as well as the carol singers...
Sigh...they have some xmas decorations up here also.....personally I don't think they should go up until 15 Dec. But that's just me.
Well, there are worse things to rush, but still it's a tad early. The old cowboy looks a bit like an iteration of you.
