I think it's important to remember too....everyone, all the time. Not all are connected to war, or military service. Jonas Salk was never in the military, but he saved millions of lives. Remembrance is a way of keeping the wisdom and knowledge of those past. I'd like to think the day is more than about those who were in the military.
