FRIDAY FUNNIES

Before we get to the humor(?) let me remind you that today is Veterans Day.

Say thank you to a vet today.

Now let me try to lift the miasma of gloom and despair prevailing, Gentle Readers, and give you a ray of sunshine.

Here's one more for you dog-lovers.

In spite of that, I'm still going to call for the kitty at the end of this.

But in the meantime, the old humor bank is running low so, Gentle Readers, if you have any good ones out there send 'em to me.

I appreciate it.

Now, this is an order: as has occurred in our house, turn off the t.v., stop reading the newspapers, get outside maybe and kick some leaves around and try to have yourselves a good weekend.

And always remember that laughter is the best medicine.

Now then.

Here, kitty-kitty . . .

Cow and her calf, bet anything that's Anchorage, a pretty common sight in the parts of town near the Chugach Mtns.

Curious George needed to meet his end. He outlived too many stunts.

They are all great, and the moose one had me laughing the hardest. LOL! Happy Veterans day. :)

Love that last one, and I'm still working hard to change my post-election mood.

I'll drink to no exercise, without a soul!

There are a whole bunch of us 'DEPLORABLES" who are not under a miasma of gloom and despair, but have a feeling of hope that our country will return to some basic values not embraced by the current administration or the losing candidate.

Kitty, kitty made me laugh out loud today. You give some good advice. I've done exactly that for the last three days. No TV news and no newspapers. It has helped.

I'm pretty sure I saw that same moose in that same yard in Homer Alaska a few years ago.
