One more day of bomfoggery, flibberty-gibberty and gibble-glabbing.
Then we vote.
In the meantime, there is the inner man (and woman) to satisfy.
And satisfy she (SWMBO) did last night with this beautiful dish of onions and peppers and baby squash.
Seasoned and headed for the oven.
They accompanied this dish of slow-cooked spicy pork chops draped with barbecue sauce.
Gentle Readers, you shoulda been here.
That was some good eatin'.
Even though I personally delivered my ballot two weeks ago to the court house (saved a stamp, I drive by it nearly every day), I believe the same about food. Last night I took a 5 spice chinese-style duck across the street and ate with the neighbors.
ReplyDeleteYours looks great, esp. the vegs.
Yum!
DeleteLooks delish! :)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly need some strength for the Election Day as much as for the next day!
ReplyDeleteI wish this food was on our table tonight...
Soon Facebook will be back to funny cats and what was for dinner...wait, we get that here already.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly those vegetable look good.
ReplyDeleteMay I add just a proper dose of white wine? Say a bottle to cook with and a bottle to enjoy with the meal.
ReplyDeleteA Gentle Reader after my own tastes.
DeleteThe pork chops would suit me nicely. I've never had squash.
ReplyDeleteOne more day, one more day...
Delicious looking morsels. Elections end, delicious food goes on. Choose wisely.
ReplyDeleteVoted long ago. Just trusting that the Irish bookies are right.
ReplyDeleteGood to have good food to fortify the body before voting this year!
ReplyDeleteIf I had all that great food to eat I might forget to vote.

DeleteThat actually makes me want some vegetables. To go with my gas station chicken, of course...
