My valentine made this Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pie to top off our oriental dinner last night.
With SPRINKLES!
Zhoen alerted me that last night was Half-Off Chocolate Day Eve which may make the trip to several grocery stores today a little more expensive.
I braced myself with a hearty breakfast.
One can never have too much chocolate.
Looks delicious on the plate. The close up looks like bacteria on a microscope slide.
ReplyDeleteSince I had dr appts this am and you're eating chocolate, is this some kind of payback for when I was in Europe last fall??
ReplyDeleteCould be. I'm reading Lucky Peach right now . . an article about the Trastevere section of Rome and all the good stuff to eat there. Now I'm hungry and headed for the kitchen and some banana bread!
DeleteWe are fans of pie for breakfast. Breakfast of Champions!
ReplyDeleteToo much chocolate? Not possible.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Bruce.
ReplyDeleteSteve
It looks quite decadent!
ReplyDeleteThe breakfast of champions. Forget about Wheaties.
ReplyDeleteGood lord, that looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteDarn you....I'm off to make brownies at 7:45 at night! (Thanks!)
ReplyDeleteLooks tasty, I like your new blue motif too.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that! That chocolate pie looks simply perfect. I'm kind of wishing I had a slice for my breakfast right now.
ReplyDeleteThat blue background surprised me this morning but I like it!
A scrub got me out on Tuesday, after I'd been scrubbed in eleven hours and was losing my ability to focus my eyes, and my back hurting. He didn't have to do that, and I'm so grateful. So, I got him Chocolate Babka, a whole loaf, bringing it in for him tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHe likes chocolate. And eating generally.
Love how you've gone blue.
You're a good one, Zhoen. And I like the blue too, doo-be-doo.
DeleteYUM!
