THROWBACK THURSDAY

Today's forecast from the Weather Gods calls for a high temperature of 76 degrees.

The photos are from a month and a half ago.

Very low cloud over StoneRidge.

A night time visitor revealed in the snow.

Looks like coyote tracks to me and they do inhabit the area.

Whatever it was it walked across my front yard in the night.

  1. If not coyote, then a bobcat. I've seen them in the neighborhood. Hopefully looking for small barking dogs . . .

  2. Bruce, up here in the canyon we live in the coyote equivalent of Disney Land, nightly serenades and neatly skinned rabbits.

  4. It's 82F now here and bright sunshine and way too hot! Don't know about those tracks, but I don't think coyotes like old codgers such as us.

  5. Seventy-six degrees sounds wonderful. I look forward to being able to go outside without a coat.

  6. We could use some of the warmth.

  7. It was 76 here in Missouri today, with 1-3 inches of snow forecast for Saturday. No predictions for coyotes.

  8. COYOTE UPDATE: I was just outside (6 p.m. - still light) and heard the coyotes howling over on the savannah. I walked down to the edge of it but, as usual, couldn't see them. But I sure heard a herd. (heh-heh)
