Nearly one year after her fall on the rear patio that resulted in a broken femur and a lengthy recovery and rehabilitation, she's back out there.
Seemingly recovered she's dabbing paint on our fence.
At some time in the future, those weather-beaten old boards will sport a mural of green hills and a bright blue sky.
And a few trees.
When she was buying the paint and explaining her project, the salesman asked if she was going to include some hot air balloons in the sky.
She laughed then.
But now she's thinking about it.
In the artistic universe that I merely cohabit, only time will tell.
Or as the great leader would say, "We'll see."
Good for her, now you get off your old ass.
ReplyDeleteVery creative. Kudos to her. But "great leader"? Don't tell me you drank the Kool Aid, too?
ReplyDeleteLooks like it will be wonderful. Only a VERY confident painter would wear white pants while wielding a loaded brush.
ReplyDeleteNice....you're a lucky old fart, I mean gentleman. Be sure to post the finished product.
ReplyDeleteLowandslow - "great leader" was written with a huge dash of sarcasm.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! That looks terrific! Send more photos.
ReplyDeleteI really like that!
ReplyDeleteShe is doing great.
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteWonderful and good for her. Why should we give up playing just because of age.

I'm impressed! The composition is promising and indicates a lively skill. We done some fence art here, but this is a grander scale. Brava!
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't I think of putting a mural on our fence when we lived in AZ? That's a great idea! More power to her. The least you can do is clean her brushes each day when she finishes. I'll look forward to viewing the final product here in the future.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! What a good idea! I admire her energy!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Can't wait to see the finished project!!
ReplyDeleteThat'll be cool when it's done!
ReplyDeleteHighly impressed by the work on such a long wall...
