Some time back I baked a recipe I'd found for a French dessert called a cherry clafoutis. Yesterday I found myself with an abundance of champagne grapes rapidly turning and decided to try some of them in the pastry.
Had a left over stuffed pepper, chopped it up and covered it with eggs and sour cream, your little clafoutis would have been a perfect finish. Use your new mixer?
Your comment on my travel site made me laugh. One of the things I did while in New York was visit the New York Public Library. It's an amazing building. While I was in there, I told my friend Glenda "we've just toured a place in New York that DJT has never been".
Cut a slice for me!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a giant chocolate cookie.
ReplyDeleteI just tasted it. Marvy, if I must say so myself.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely looks promising! Glad it turned out "marvy"!
ReplyDeleteI would have said, "It's Sunday breakfast SOMEWHERE! No need to wait."

Jager, no, this requires only a quick spin in the blender.
ReplyDelete*reaches through computer, grabs dessert...*
ReplyDeleteI'm ready to try it! ;-)
