A storm uprooted it last week and it was obvious the end was near.
Rick made short order of the finale for the poor thing.
Well, Rick and this noisy device.
His onerous duties completed, this is how our arbor looks now.
Which explains the title of this blog.
And you were lasciviously expecting something else, weren't you?
False advertising.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was expecting something else, and I still had hope when I read about Rick the Handyman. Which possibly could have been the name of a male stripper who makes house calls...
ReplyDeleteThat's going to take some getting used to.
ReplyDeleteYes. I thought the Handyman was going to be caught with his nickers down.
ReplyDeleteWell, a pine might look good in that spot.
ReplyDeleteI must be having a busy week because I'm just now scrolling through your posts since Friday. So sorry about the tree. I have to see trees die under any circumstances. But, I'm glad the bird bath was not harmed. When I was living at the house on 9th Ave. I had an orchid tree in my front yard that was already pretty weak when I moved in. About 5 years later it had to be removed and it made me cry. I loved that tree even if was struggling.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to lose a tree. :(
