Doing it the "modern" way, she found a recipe on the Internet.
She said it was different from the way her mother used to make them but it came out beautifully.
Paired with some vanilla ice cream last night, it was delicious.
I may have to have some for breakfast today.
A small compensation for not eating salmon or Thai food?
ReplyDeleteKee-rect. That there's Amurrican food, podnuh.
ReplyDeleteWhile I was in California I had lunch at a farm-to-table place and had peach crisp, similar to cobbler for dessert. It was topped with vanilla ice cream and was delicious! Your photo alone is making me crave one.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was someone's mom's recipe.
ReplyDeleteI can taste it from here!
ReplyDeleteThey say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. With that peach cobbler your good lady has made an expressway!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Breakfast of Champions to me!
ReplyDeleteHow was your breakfast?
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteluscious!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - I want some right now!
ReplyDeleteMy mother would make that occasionally, and it was always a treat.
ReplyDeleteMy mom never made a peach cobbler in her life -- LOL! (She wasn't much of a baker.) That looks yummy, I must say.
