'SNO FALL!

You will, of course, recall my post about the first day of Autumn.

After all that was only yesterday.

But an alert Gentle Reader, Lori Across Town, found something to exclaim about.

The first snowfall of the season at the Arizona Snow Bowl outside of Flagstaff.

As she wrote "Too soon for me!"

(Thanks, Lori.)

This could be the first Sept I'm aware of that we've not gotten at least a skiff of snow in town. The Rockies around us, the Pintlar and Highland range got a small dump last Saturday.

I would remind your local readers to buy snow shovels now. Last winter there were none to be had!

If ever there is snow here in our own desert-y climate, I shall dance!

We don't want snow here until the greenhouse is built!

Snow! No way... way too early for that.

Imagine that! We had some hail down here. I'm sure it's a passing thing.

The Farmers Almanac did predict the weather would be changing sometime after summer.
