Just a little overnight but the sky is promising more to come.
The front showing only a slightly damp walkway this morning.
And out back the sun faces are smiling through.

"Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day."
I was more thinking Brooke Benton's 'Rainy Night in Georgia'

How about "It never rains in California"?
ReplyDeleteWe are celebrating a bit of sunshine today!
ReplyDeleteAlways good to have some rain. We had one of those sun faces for several years. It hung on the wall of our deck. One day we went out and noticed it had fallen to the ground and shattered. We miss it.
ReplyDeleteToday we had sun, a rarity in November.
ReplyDeleteNothing like A Rainy Night in Georgia.
ReplyDeleteStrangely, we are getting rain right along with you, instead of a day later. (And a dollar shorter?)
We love rain!
