Ice cream was a treat on Friday! Sometimes this or fudge bars. My friend Scott and I collected the wood sticks, created towns, etc. Good memory.. thanks!
Oh my, I haven't had those little cups of ice cream since I was a kid....but like you I recall the taste of the small spoon more than the ice cream too!

Yep, the wooden spoon sure had a subtle taste that was very different from the plastic spoons that replaced them.

Oh my, I haven't had those little cups of ice cream since I was a kid....but like you I recall the taste of the small spoon more than the ice cream too!
It was the texture of the spoon I remember.
I don't recall that brand.
That's a powerful sense memory right there.
