This was awesome. Dropped by the SC State House Friday and had a similar commentary running in my head watching the squirrels.
That first bird is just stocky. He'd wear the 'husky' size in Sears Toughskins.
Wasn't it Garfield who said, "I'm not fat, I'm fluffy"? I suppose the same could apply to feathery. LOL
So that's where my robins have flown off to. I haven't seen them for about 4 weeks now. I thought they were living in the ficus trees here but now I realize they were just feasting on the seeds from the tree. Now that the seeds are gone, so are they. They headed to where it's a bit cooler.
