My most regular supplier of humor for this blog hit me with a late-ish Halloween treat yesterday.
It took each of us a little time to figure it out.
Let's hear how long it takes you Gentle Readers to solve the puzzle.
Be honest now.
Are those Reese's peanut butter cups? I'm clueless. Looks like a Renaissance painter on the pumpkin.
How about a hint. Is that Columbus or Luther or...?
After I counted it got it right away. The 95 Reese’s Martin Luther. But I grew up Lutheran so I knew the background and the anniversary date
I just got it. It's Luther (I kept thinking it was Columbus and trying to get 1492 somehow in the candy. All those old white guys look alike.) I'm reminded of one of Martin's famous quotes: "When I fart in Witenburg they small it in Rome."
I assume they are theses nailed to the door --- and that has to be Luther.
I'm clueless too!
I would never have gotten it if I hadn't read the comments above. For one thing, I didn't recognize that as Luther. I thought it was Columbus!
I still don't get it. ;-)
I'm with RedPat... I still don't get it.
I still don't get it either. What has Martin Luther got to do with Trick or Treat?
I wouldn't have gotten it.
Obviously it is a pun. Martin Luther and 95 Reeses instead of 95 theses.Way too easy.
OK, I just read your latest post.
