OH NO, SNOW!

 My back yard this morning.

No, it's not Spring yet, even here in (normally) sunny and warm Arizona.

A winter storm is moving through the northern part of the state, snow plows are working like mad on the Interstate highways, and my weather-worn Blue Cat is not amused.

  1. Oh, no is right! Of course, not only do I have snow, but wind. No dog walks today! We are the last to be plowed out.

  4. That cat is blue for a reason today. It's raining and cold down here. In fact, I have a blanket over my lap as I type this.

    1. Good choice, Sharon. It's staying just at about the freezing point here or slightly above so the cat's head is now clear but he has a snowy blanket over his body.

    2. We're starting with sleet. Not fluffy. Not enough to cover a cat. Expecting the cat-cover tomorrow.

  5. I admit I never knew it snowed in Arizona. I just told everyone I'm dumb now didn't I?

    1. No, many people think Arizona is ony a desert. But we have mountains, too.

  6. I'm in Portland, it was 24f this morning, locals were acting like it was the arctic....it was -18f in Butte. Daffodils are already blooming here.

  8. I have the ADOT app on my phone and its been buzzing all day with all the road closures due to the snow in the high country. We got a bit of rain down here and cold temps.

    Lovely pictures!

  9. It looks a bit like a marshmallow factory exploded and the stuff landed in your yard. I hope you get warmer temperatures soon.

  10. No snow here, but they are calling for sleet over night. I'm ready for winter to get gone.

  11. Snow is always so pretty and soft and quiet, but so cold too. It was 26 degrees here yesterday on the north coast. Seems like winter is arriving a bit late this year.
PS-- I have a new blogger account because my computer got a virus. So, this is the new me (the old robin.andrea).

  12. Argh! Winter always does this. Just when we think we're finishing with it, it roars back for another bout.
