SLOW SATURDAY . . SUCCESSFUL SUNDAY

We had one of those days yesterday that makes one realize how ingrained the Internet has become in one's life.

Our router had died sometime Friday night and we no longer had the Web.

Or Netflix or Amazon on our t.v.

And a tech could not come out until today.

But he has been here and installed a new router and everything is all right with the world again.

So I can post a meme that Comical Carol sent me on Friday and which I had intended to post yesterday.

Some books you might wish to seek out.

Thanks, Carol, and everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I've been faced with that in power outages. Oh, I'll just do x. Oops, no. How about y? Duh, nope. I didn't put together that the internet needs electricity to work. LOL

That's a good one.

I love these and my daughter will too when I send them to her.

Glad you are connected again. It is disconcerting to net-less and feeling helpless.

I wonder what caused the router to die? Maybe you got a power surge or something? Weird. Funny book list -- I especially like "Imelda Letter."

I still had the Internet on my phone, which has a different provider.

Old age, Steve. I'm told they can go south after 5 or 6 years and mine was at least that old.

I've seen that list of books before :) So very cute! Always a nice day to step away from technology and find other things to do :)
