Thanks, California!
We awoke to a coating of white as rain and snow entered our state from the West.
But at least, the temperature will top out in the upper 30's today and the infernal snow will not linger for more than a few hours.
Meantime as we deal with a new year and a new calendar . . .
At least that's an easy fix from 2 to 3! The sun came out so this amount of snow should melt quickly. Still don't like it!
ReplyDeleteYou still have more snow than we do. I'm sure that will change.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, it's always California's fault! :)
ReplyDelete(I say that as a California lover myself, and my dad was from there, so don't yell at me, Californians...)
Based on past experience I will be mis-writing the date for at least a month.
ReplyDeleteHey we're innocent here in California. I had nothing to do with that snow LOL!
ReplyDeleteOdd years are hard for me to remember for some reason. Snow!! It's cold here but no white stuff predicted...at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a schoolteacher it took me a couple of weeks to remember the year straight after Christmas. It was as if I was living in the past.
ReplyDeleteHere on the California central coast we've received 11.5 inches of rain for the year, 7 of that in December. It's raining today, should be dry tomorrow and will then 6 of the next 7 days if the forecast holds. So, you are likely to get more moisture. 2023 is off to a good start, water wise.
ReplyDeleteInfernal snow?
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing.
just a little snow here in our desert southern California. Is it really 2023?

ReplyDeletebut it looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCalifornia said to tell you, "You're welcome".
ReplyDeleteBrrr! We're back into more acceptable temp ranges (it's 58 right now). But still I'd like to see a little (LITTLE) bit of snow...
