AN OLD FAVORITE

 


The clafoutis!

Fresh from the oven.

I hate it when they cool because they sink.

But SWMBO says they taste just as good.

I made this one with blueberries.

I've made the same recipe with cherries and with plums.

Any fruit seems to work well.

And SWMBO is right.

Of course.

They all taste wonderful.

I've never tried one of those, did you have any kind of topping? Ice cream? Whipped cream? Custard?

I had to google "clafoutie" as I never heard of it. Sort of a baked pancake with fruit? Looks yummy!

Fruit spread in a buttered dish then topped with a custard or flan and baked. You can Google for many recipes.

I spelled it wrong. It should be "clafoutis". I corrected it in the post. It's more like a baked custard. And it is yummy!

Merci! Blueberries are my favorite so I would love this. I've only had one a couple times.
