Today is International Pi Day - March 14th or 3.14.
Those are the first two digits of the mathematical constant of Pi, which is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, regardless of the size of the circle.
If that has you confused, just celebrate yet another holiday with a big piece of pie!
Are you baking a pie to celebrate?
ReplyDeleteNo plans to but I might eat one if someone else made it.
DeleteI want pie! Even though I don't celebrate this holiday.
ReplyDeletePie over pi. Blueberry for me.
ReplyDeleteNow I want pie! Love the cartoon.
ReplyDeleteA slice of pie would be so lovely right now. Maybe that's how we should always celebrate this day.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! I planned on making a pie yesterday but only got as far as cooking the apples. I'll eventually make a pie, maybe in time for next year's Pi day.
ReplyDeleteGood one!
ReplyDeleteAt football matches in England, when there's a chubby player on the pitch or a fat referee or even an overweight steward, a chant will sometimes go up from the crowd - "Who ate all the pies? Who ate all the pies? Who ate - who ate - Who ate all the pies?" Hurtful but funny too!
