MONSOON SKY

I call them "thunderbumpers".

They piled up yesterday afternoon but we only got a brief evening shower this time.

I love those clouds. We haven't had much of them lately.
The photo editing app that I'm using is called Photo Lab Pro.

They look impressive, even if they didn't give you much rain!

Well on the other side of town, we got thunder, lightening, and a deluge!

What a cool cloud formation! I love those giant fluffy ones.

I was surprised several years ago to see vloggers shooting the monsoon storms in AZ. It's not something one associates.

Those clods almost look like an exotic flower.

That is a beautiful sky view.

Actually a "thunderbumper" is an enormous fart.

I like cumulus clouds that build up like they did in North Dakota!

Spectacular picture! We had a nice rain this afternoon which cooled things down. Happy campers here.

I've developed a new appreciation for those clouds. Working in the heat, when a batch of those clouds rolled in, you could feel a noticeable change in the temperature. If felt so much cooler. I read that you all had 31 days of heat above 110. It broke yesterday. It only got to 108. Ugh. Sounds miserable.

Phoenix, not here. We're about 80 miles northwest and 4,000 feet higher. And 10 to 20 degrees cooler.
