SURPRISE!

Fresh from the oven yesterday, a loaf of Chocolate Chip Banana Bread.

Judy said it ought to be called "cake" rather than "bread".

But she (and I) liked it!

    1. Chocolate chips in banana bread was a new one by me. Judy thought it should have walnuts instead but I wanted to try this. And she's right about it being more like cake than bread.

  3. Most breads we have in this country are actually "cakes" in most other places. I'm fine with that!

  10. Baking banana bread has such a delightful aroma. One time while baking banana bread I had a handful of dried blueberries and so I tossed them in the batter. It was really good but not quite at the level of BB with chocolate chips.
