Whatever the language, it was good!
Yum! Dinner here was venison tenderloins in mushroom gravy over quinoa, Savoy cabbage, and fried apples. Pretty tasty, but stirfry...that sounds like dinner tomorrow maybe!

ReplyDeleteI wonder why Yanks chose the Italian word "zucchini" instead of the French word "courgette" as we British did way back in time. I also wonder why our forebears didn't come up with an Anglicised term for the fruit/vegetable such as a "grock" which is a contraction of "green" and "cock".
