HEY!

In response to my post of yesterday and all of the comments . . . I am well!

I am alive!

I am not depressed!

Just to prove it to you, I made a loaf of bread (well, the bread machine did it) this morning to please my darlin'.

Whole wheat studded with dried cranberries.

Her fave

And, let's see, I washed some dishes and I took a shower and shaved with my last blade.

And tossed on some Bay Rum aftershave.

And later I tried a new "recipe" and made my darlin' a New York Egg Cream.

Which, as some of you may know, doesn't contain either egg or cream.

She liked it.

And so did I.

We're about to dine on Brie cheese, tuna salad, mango salad, the bread I baked this morning, and who knows what else.

Life is good!

In spite of Washington.

Keep the faith, my friends, and remember to always keep laughing!

We've been eating snacky dinners at night. Lite Bites. A variety of cheeses, meats, olives, crackers, grapes, etc. Easy to fix. Easy to clean up. Maybe Lazy Bites!

Ah, an egg cream. A pastrami sandwich at Carnagies, on 7th. With a chocolate egg cream. Memories....

You wrote studded with cranberries and I saw snow tires with studs. Guess I could have seen whole wheat and cranberry studs engaged in the kind of things horse breeders engage. Thanks for the novel use of studded. It made this decimal prelude to the Ides a day to be of good cheer.

The one that makes me laugh (mostly because I so get it) is: I'm using 'f***' like a comma.

I have no idea what New York egg cream is but I would have assumed it contained both egg and cream.

The last thing I need is another coffee cups, but I bet Amazon has that one.

I don't know what that egg cream is but will look it up. I am discouraged but trying to enjoy what I can in each day. Unfortunately, Washington's actions will affect me and those I care about, so I have those worries in the back of my mind.

I can easily do without coffee, but middle fingers are essential.
