Some photos today from Judy's patio pot garden.
Calibrachoa (Million Bells)
Sweet Alyssum
Petunia
Wonderful fragrant Mint
After previewing this, Judy said "There are Chives, you know."
I said, "Yes, but they're not as pretty as these."
So you'll only get what I say you'll get!
Neat! I'm about to plant a few chives indoors. :)
ReplyDeleteThat first one is so unusual and looks like a petunia too. I've never seen that coloration. My annuals are all dying down and not worthy of photos. :(
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked it up online it says it's a relative of a petunia.
DeleteLovely pictures of flowers. And mint! I have chives, too.
ReplyDeleteI feel cheated Bruce as I desperately wanted to see the chives!
ReplyDeleteThis year's crop looks similar to this one from 4 years ago: https://oddballobservations.blogspot.com/2021/05/herbs.html
DeleteBTW Professor, you wish is my command! 😄
DeleteBeautiful! The post is a bouquet of color. tc/lightbreezes
ReplyDeleteI never knew the name of that first one. They are so pretty. And that mint! Nothing like the smell of fresh mint.
ReplyDeleteEspecially on the rim of a glass of vodka(or gin) and tonic!
DeleteMy 13-year-old-self loves the fact that Judy has a pot garden.
ReplyDeleteChives can be pretty, you just need the right angle. They're also pretty good chopped and stirred into scrambled eggs.
ReplyDeleteChives are so great to eat.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Good job, Judy!
