I tried a new brownie recipe this afternoon.
It's called "Marbled Cheesecake Brownies"
See what you think.
Obviously this is a close-up and they haven't been cut into squares yet.
But my mouth is watering.
And typical of me, the number of pans and utensils dirtied was monumental.

Looks delish!
ReplyDeleteI have made marbled cheesecake brownies for 50 years. In our family they are called "grandma's famous brownies" and I think everyone thinks I created the recipe. Truth be told, the original recipe was in a Good Housekeeping magazine, and I might still have the original clipping. I am not sure how you managed so many utensils and pans. I mix up everything into the pan I melt the butter and chocolate in - one pan, one spoon, and one measuring cup, then a little bowl for the cream cheese mixture - plus the pan for baking.
ReplyDeleteMy ineptitude is explained in your first sentence - ". . . for 50 years." I, on the other hand, am a late learner.
Deleteoh my that looks so good haven't had a brownie in years . . .
ReplyDeleteMy brownie recipe: one can of black beans run through a blender and one box of brownie mix, nothing else. Delicious and they taste like brownies, not beans.
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteCheesecake brownies are the perfect combination of two delicious desserts. I would definitely eat one or ten squares of them. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious!
