Alone . . but eating well!
There must be some single folk out there in my vast multitude of readers who battle with the recipe books, trying to figure out how to boil down one of those delicious sounding dishes that serves 4 to 6 people. Well, bachelors and bachelorettes, I have help for you. A friend of mine has a blog devoted just to you. Her name is, as she insists, j. godsey and her blog is Well Enough Alone. I urge you to visit it and examine her simple but tasty recipes and great photography. She has pointed out to me that any of the recipes can be easily increased if you have someone to share with. Check it out!

When I was living on my own in Columbus Ohio and in Utah, I gave up on trying to cook for one. I would just cook a "normal" portion and eat it for a few days.
ReplyDeleteOr I would just skip food altogether and drink dinner.
Actually, come to think of it, I drank dinner most of the time back then and when I didn't, I just ordered out.
Mike - Been there. Done that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that. When the kids are at their dad's, I'm very bad at eating. x
ReplyDeleteI loved to cook for myself when I lived alone. I was almost total vegetarian, & it was easy.
ReplyDeleteNow with us having differing tastes we often have 2 different meals anyway! LOL.
Most of the time I cook to suit myself and as with Mike in his earlier life I just carry on eating it until it has all gone HaHa !! -- My wife is a far superior cook to me ( possibly) , but never seems to cook anything much as a family type meal so needs must when the devil drives
ReplyDeleteCat, thanks for the link you left on my blog. Interesting reading. Perhaps she should add squirrel to her site.
