O.K. I know I'm a bit looney over the moon. But this is a big one.
I just wish I had a longer lens for my camera. As it is, the moon just sort of washes out with the brightness. With a longer lens, I might be able to show you some detail. But here's the 100% full moon tonight.
I caught a look at sunset, which was spectacular. Didn't have my camera handy -- and I've got all kinds of specks on my windows, so I probably wouldn't have been able to get the effect in any case.

Great pic! I've tried taking pictures of the moon but they never come out any good :(

OH wow, my son called me outside a night or so ago to point out the same thing. The moon looked huge.
