HAVE A SEAT
The BRD took us and her Beau Jack to lunch yesterday at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Casa Bonita. The food is good but I think the highlight of any trip there is viewing the chairs. They come from Guadalajara, where we used to live, and are carved and colorfully painted.

Chairs in a happy mood! Would be fun to have a couple of them...
If that doesn't put one in the mood for some good Mexican food, I don't know what will.

They are gorgeous.
My young friend and former student Anais went and lived in Guadalajara for a year or so. Amazingly for a city of however many million people it is twinned with the tiny Brittany town of Lannion! Or its university is anyway. Apparently there are lots of students from Brittany there. She loved it and was decidedly reluctant to come home.
