STELLA WHO?

One of the exhibitions in the Phoenix Art Museum currently is titled Digital Print Fashion, showing in the Ellman Fashion Design Gallery. It demonstrates how advances in digital technology allow designers to place digital images on clothing.

There are some 40 different garments by designers such as Alexander McQueen on display.

One of the garments is this digital printed silk coat by a young British designer.

In the event you don't recognize the designer's name, here's a picture of her with her dad.

Talent apparently runs in the family.

(By the way, if you're in Phoenix and want to see the exhibition, it will only be there until July 14th.)

  3. The Osher Learning Institute at Yavapai College in Prescott usually makes a field trip to the Phoenix Art Museum at least once a year. I did the trip a few years back and really enjoyed the museum. Had a pleasant lunch outside on the courtyard. The best part; not having to drive in Phoenix.

    1. Phil, the museum has a permanent Oriental art gallery with rotating exhibits, as I'm sure you know.

BTW, I love driving in Phoenix, especially with all the freeways now.

    1. I wish I'd been in San Francisco in those years. Wait a minute, I did pay a visit there in '66 when Haight-Ashbury was going strong. And if you can remember seeing Paul in those years, you're not getting old at all. Unlike many from that era,you still have your memory!
