The intrepid young reporter (in black) jogging in front of the North Dakota State capitol with Governor Bill Guy (in glasses at right) leading a group in support of Bobby Kennedy's fitness campaign.
Although I am perfectly in step with the guv, I look badly in need of an adult beverage and a Marlboro . . . my diet in the 1960's.

There is something about those glasses and the haircuts that just screams 1960.
I noticed the old sweat suits that made sense, not todays fashionable jogging suits.
So...did you get a story while jogging with the governor?
Just the usual blather you get from any politician.
Chasing down a lead?
That must have been close to the whole population of North Dakota at the time.
Now that track is probably full of fracking oil wells.
You were doing the right thing to stay in shape, both: towards your body and towards your job!
More like a feature, Steve.
There were about 640,000 people in North Dakota then. And the oil wells are probably 75 miles from there, in MY home county!
Regrettably that was a one-time event, Therese.
You looked like you were in top shape! Media trickery no doubt!?
No trickery needed, Tom. I was in my 20's!!!!
North Dakota, huh? I'm guessing they didn't call it "jogging". It was probably more like "keeping moving so as not to freeze to death". :)

Pardon my poor eyesight, but it looks like you are running in a pair of lace-up Hush Puppies. Even that guy next to you has a pair of Converse All-Stars. And he's got a little adult-beverage-gut going on.
I love this picture :)
